Anusha Sehgal Parivallal BAMS, MD (Ayu) is an Ayurvedic physician from the Boston area, who journeyed to India in 1998 to study Ayurveda. She has a masters in Ayurvedic pharmaceutics and has done an academic fellowship at Boston University focused on integrative medicine.
Dr. Anusha has taught the principles as well as the practice of Ayurveda to medical students, researchers and general health seekers both in India and the US. Apart from her passion for teaching, she has also been involved in a few controversial research projects regarding Ayurveda which resulted in revision of quality and standards of Ayurvedic medicine worldwide. Dr. Anusha has also worked with Osher Center of Integrative Medicine, Boston; BMC Department of Integrative Medicine, Boston; Defense Research & Development Organization (DRDO, India; Madras Diabetes Research Foundation (MDRF), India; and L’Oreal Research and Innovation, India. She is also a member of National Ayurvedic Medical Association and an National Accreditation Board for Hospital (NABH) assessor for Ayurveda hospitals in India.
